What is UL 2050 Certification?
UL 2050 is the Underwriters Laboratories Standard for National Industrial Security Systems. Developed in collaboration with U.S. federal security agencies, it sets the rigorous requirements for the design, installation, monitoring, and operation of alarm systems that protect classified and sensitive materials.
It applies to intrusion detection systems installed at defense contractor facilities, SCIFs (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities), government sites, and other locations handling national security assets.
